Educational Support

  1. ✦Working with the Mechai Viravaidya Foundation and the Mechai Pattana School in the creation of the Kelly Lifelong Learning Center, a tribute to Matthew Sr. from his friends in honor of his 90th birthday.

  1. ✦Creation of the Change a Child’s Life program at Children of the Forest with the Fehring family Aurora Foundation. Donors, contributing $350 a year, have a chance to sponsor and establish a relationship with a child.

  1. ✦Baan Huaydaeng School, a rural school in Ubon Ratchathani province.

  1. ✦Nongboat School in Buriram province.

  2. •Built a library/community education center/meeting hall, a volunteer teacher’s house, a garbage bank for recycling, and made donations of computers and books

  3. •Sponsored volunteer English teachers and school activities/celebrations

  4. •Organized community events, as well as promoted environmental awareness

  5. ✦Arranged English camps in rural Isan schools with volunteers from Volunthai.
